Andrew Perlman is the CEO and co-founder of GreatPoint Energy, the technology leader in converting coal into clean low cost natural gas. In 2011, the Wall Street Journal selected GreatPoint as the #6 venture-backed cleantech company in the U.S. Previously Andrew co-founded and was CEO of Coatue Corporation, a developer of polymer-based computer memory chips, which he sold to Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD) in 2004. Prior to founding Coatue, Andrew was founder and President of Cignal Global Communications, an early voice-over-data-network communications provider.

Andrew was profiled by the Wall Street Journal as one of its leading young entrepreneurs "on the move" and chosen by MIT Technology Review as one of its 2009 “35 Innovators Under 35.” Andrew sits on the Boards of Coskata, Miacomet, and GreatPoint Energy.

Aaron Mandell is the CEO and co-founder of Oasys Water. Previously, Aaron was CTO and co-founder of GreatPoint Energy. Prior to GreatPoint, Aaron co-founded and was CTO of Coatue Corporation where he was responsible for technology development of the company’s polymer memory chip (acquired by NYSE: AMD in 2004).

Aaron has a technical background in environmental engineering and conducted his graduate research on groundwater hydrology under a joint fellowship at the University of Vermont and Tel-Aviv University. Aaron holds a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont and has held visiting scientist appointments at MIT and Tel-Aviv University. Aaron sits on the Board of Oasys and is a member of the Board of Advisors of the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Vermont.

Avi Goldberg is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of GreatPoint Energy. Previously, Avi was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Coatue Corporation. Prior to Coatue, Avi served as the Director of Worldwide Sales and Network Optimization at Cignal Global Communications where he managed sales and cost containment for Cignal's core business units, generating $50 million a year in revenue.

Avi received a BA in political science and strategic intelligence, graduating magnum cum laude from Boston University. Avi sits on the Boards of Zafgen and GreatPoint Energy.

Michael Outwin is the Vice President of Business Development and co-founder of Miacomet Corporation. Miacomet is developing a biomining technology capable of recovering metals of value from mineral ore that is inaccessible to conventional processes. At GPV, Michael works with scientists and industry experts to identify, evaluate, and commercialize promising technologies. Michael is also closely involved with GPV portfolio company, GreatPoint Energy, the technology leader in converting coal, petcoke and biomass into low cost natural gas.

Michael received a BA in International Business and Management from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. As part of his international studies he also attended the Universitat de Barcelona.
